HR Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of human resources management. The HR Manager will play a critical role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, while fostering a positive and inclusive work culture that aligns with our company values and goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, employee relations, and talent acquisition, with a passion for supporting the growth and success of our organization.

Location: Mumbai, India.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives and company culture.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Manage employee relations, including addressing grievances, conducting investigations, and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and professional development plans.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with statutory regulations related to labour laws, employment practices and workplace/site safety.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge in areas such as safety procedures, and professional development.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in HR management and recommend innovative solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic initiatives to attract, retain, and develop a diverse and high-performing workforce.
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR manager or similar role, preferably in the firefighting system integration industry or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures, with a strong understanding of Indian labour laws and regulations.
  • Expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and HR software systems.
