Gas Suppression System
Description
Clean Agent and CO2 suppression offer more than just extinguishing fires.
In high-hazard areas, specialized fire protection systems are essential to not only put out fires but also to safeguard the facility from collateral and environmental damage.
Clean Agent Gases are an ideal solution as they are colorless, odorless, and electrically non-conductive. These gases suppress fires by disrupting the combustion process and extracting heat energy, making it impossible for the fire to sustain itself. Thus, they provide efficient fire suppression while minimizing potential damage to the surroundings.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a low cost, colourless, odourless and chemically inert gas that is both readily available and electrically non-conductive. It extinguishes fire primarily by lowering the level of oxygen that supports combustion in a protected area. This mechanism of fire suppression makes CO2 suppression systems highly effective, requiring minimal clean-up, but should be used in normally unoccupied hazard locations or otherwise avoided by personnel when discharged.
There are two type of Carbon Dioxide Fire Suppression System, Low pressure systems and equipment are best suited for applications where large quantities of CO2 are needed. High pressure systems are recommended for smaller hazards or where space is limited.
- Extinguishes the fires fast and effectively – before any damage is done to your valued assets.
- Atmospheric lifetime of approximately 34.2 Years for FM-200 and 5 days for Novec-1230.
- Ozone Depleting Potential (ODP) of Zero.
- No post-fire residues to clean up.
- No damage to protected equipment.
- Is electrically non-conductive.
- Safe for use in a wide range of normally occupied hazard areas.
- The most widely accepted clean agent in the world.
